Word Train

The task that Mrs shaw gave us was that we had to do a word train but the last letter in each word had to be the letter you have to start with that letter for the next word.

Stick person

Mrs Shaw gave us the book The Stick man to listen to and our task was to make a stick figure name him or her stick... Mine is called Jerry. Stick Jerry is a pig hunter. He has a stick dog called Bob that is his pig hunting dog.

Weta Motels

We made weta motels because weta are native and are endangered. We hope that weta come and live in the motels.

Garlic Bead

We made garlic bread with the garlic we grew from the school garden last year. We handed the garlic bread out at the school swimming sports and triathlon BBQ.

We grow sunflowers and then painted them.

KO WAI AHAU? | ABOUT ME

Hi my name is James and I am year 5 at Matawai School. I have two brothers and Mum and Dad, we live on a farm about an hour out of Gisborne.

I am good at maths and try my best at writing  although I'm not very good. My challenges are writing and art with art I just cannot get my pencil to go the right way.

This year I'm looking forward to the interschool cross country. In winter I'll be starting my rugby my club is Ngatapa. I am also looking forward to swimming sports and the school tryathlon.

Today I was learning to reference a image and to put the html.

I enjoyed making colours on word art.

I found it challenging to fit all the facts in and to get the html.

My digital learning object shows that I can search, add text box's,use word art insert image,attribution.
