Kon-Tiki
Thor Heyerdahl wanted to prove that the early settlers could have traveled from Peru to the Polynesian Islands. Thor Heyerdahl made a Kon-Tiki. It was named after the Peru god. It was made of 9 balsa logs lashed together with hemp rope. It took 101 days to complete the great challenge. He wanted to prove all the people wrong who had said that he was stupid and foolish to think that the settler could have done that. This is my raft down below I don't think my Kon-Tiki would stand a chance in the big Pacific Ocean.
